Inspiration
I am trying to think of the next double up to go and I need a bit of help trying to decide. I would like a beer that is reasonably palette friendly but not too subtle in flavour compared to our mass producers. I would like a simple yet easily drinkable with robust flavour. Please lend me your input.

Hoegarrden immitation always a good one for summer bit different and one of those beers that you can at anytime and most who try it will come back for more.
Other options for a stronger smokier flavouris the Chimmay immitation though high % usually or the two row larger which ends up similar to Squire golden ale.
Hey Marko, would you like to try a "Little Creatures Bright Ale"? There is a recipe listed on Country Brewer.
You could save money on a double batch by picking up your maltodextrin from the supermarket (corn starch, 500g for $1.80), and get your dextrose (1kg for $3.50) and malt (500g at $4.70) from Big W. It's the same as using a "Brew Booster" but about 30% cheaper.
Hell, you could use a basic Cooper's lager or ale kit ($10.40) instead of "Wal's Blonde" ($17.50) and save yourself 40% for these items. I recommend the basic ale by Coopers, btw.
You'll still need to stop in at the brew shop though for some grain ($1) and a little hops ($2.50). You can skimp again and use the two bags of kit yeast that you have just acquired instead of the Safale recommended and save another $5 outright.
The "right" way: $67
The Max Power way: $38
(43% saving based on a double-batch, 45L).
